This means the front passenger wheel will go to the back passenger, the back passenger to the front driver, the front driver to back driver and the back driver to the front passenger. Keep this shape for all future rotations to ensure good wear throughout.

Put your car in park with the parking brake on (Manual transmission cars: leave in gear). Loosen lug nuts slightly. Jack your car up onto jack stands. Remove wheels and rotate. Hand tighten lug nuts. Set the car down and tighten down the lug nuts with a tire iron. Be sure to tighten down opposite lug nuts first, or the "star" pattern. There you go! Simple, at home tire rotation!
